Before becoming a professional graphic designer, I had many administrative positions at the executive level. Being a perfectionist at all tasks assigned to me was very important and still is. When assigned projects such as proposals, I constantly tried to make them look better. Tried to make those boring business documents look more appealing so the recipient might actually want to read them. Then I began creating simple business presentations and before you knew it, I had found my niche. My goal, dream and passion was to become a professional graphic designer. I did not go to college or trade school to learn graphic design -- I am 100% self taught. Goal achieved!
Before founding SunBurst Graphics, I started-up and operated full service in house graphic design departments for medium sized corporations, where I was the lead designer, managed the entire departments, coordinated all graphic design and printing, chose all vendors and hired and supervised employees. I then moved on to solely operating a full service, retail graphic design and digital printing company, Chameleon Graphics, under investor Walter Cruttenden, III, a well known businessman in Orange County, CA. It was a wonderful experience. Then a new goal and dream was upon me: to become a full-time, independent graphic designer enabling me to work anywhere in the US (or world). Goal achieved! I have clients in several states, some of whom I've never even met, but we feel like we know each other well from working together as a team. Your location is completely irrelevant!
I have a true passion for my profession and always will. I feel very lucky to have achieved my goals and dreams. I am professional, reliable and very well known for meeting impossible deadlines.
